Filetrip.net is published by John Costello as a personal,
non-commercial project. The publication director is John Costello.

2. Hosting
The server is hosted by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix,
France.
Traffic reaches it through Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street,
San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, acting as a reverse proxy.
3. Terms of use
Using Filetrip.net means accepting the terms below. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
- The service is free and provided as is, with no warranty of any kind: no guarantee that it will be available, that a transfer will succeed, or that a file will still be there when the recipient arrives.
- Each upload is limited to 100 files and 10 MB in total, may be downloaded once, and is deleted after 24 hours if it is not.
- Deletion is permanent and immediate. Always keep your own copy of anything you send; this service is a courier, not storage.
- There is no account and no password: anyone holding a download link can use it. Sharing that link is your responsibility.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Filetrip.net to send or make available:
- anything unlawful under French law, or unlawful where the recipient is;
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or any other right held by someone else;
- malware, ransomware, phishing pages, or payloads intended to harm the person who opens them;
- personal data concerning other people, sent without their knowledge or consent;
- content that sexually exploits minors, or that incites hatred, violence or terrorism.
Automated, scripted or bulk use of the service is prohibited, as is any attempt to circumvent its limits. The publisher may remove any upload and block any access at any time, without notice and without having to justify it.
5. Reporting content
Filetrip.net stores files at its users' request and does not select, review or edit them beforehand: it acts as a host within the meaning of article 6 of the French LCEN, not as the publisher of what its users send. Uploads disappear on their own within 24 hours at the very most, so a report often arrives after the content has already gone — send it anyway.
Write to [email protected] with the link in question and a description of the problem. Reports are handled as quickly as is reasonably possible.
6. The archive
Besides the transfer service, this site keeps online the file archive of the former Filetrip, published years ago and preserved for historical reference. Takedown requests concerning those files go to the same address as above.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for the loss or corruption of files, for a transfer that fails or completes only partly, for an upload that expires before it is collected, for any interruption of the service, or for the use anyone makes of the files that pass through it. You use the service at your own risk.
8. Intellectual property
The name, the design and the source code of Filetrip.net belong to its publisher. Files sent through the service remain entirely the property of the people who send them; hosting them grants the publisher no right over them beyond what is technically required to deliver them.
9. Governing law
This notice and any use of the service are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably falls to the competent French courts.
